Open House 2017
What a busy day today! Earlier on, we had our JCUS Open House today from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Mehan and Steffie were assigned at the Registration. Ira and Charlene were stationed at Paya Lebar MRT for shuttle bus service. An, Shenelle and I were assigned to assist the BBQ area, but plans changed and we were given our own booth to promote our GK Chapter. Campus Activities helped us to print our black-and-white GK brochures, and we put them into the goody bags to be distributed to all visitors. We used our remaining copies to display a key art on our table.
In the morning, we had talked to a number of visitors to raise the awareness of our internationally recognised society. Shenelle was then assigned as an usher in the morning. After lunch, she joined us at the booth to continue promoting our society.
I want to thank these guys for volunteering at this event. Thank you Charlene and Ira for your hard work ushering visitors at the shuttle bus site. Kudos to Steffie and Mehan for being excellent ushers, guiding and directing our visitors to places they want to visit. Great job to An for being proactive in promoting our society to people who approached us at our booth. A splendid work for Shenelle for switching between ushering and managing our booth! You people are awesome!
